Supporting people living with HIV/AIDS

And people displaced through Violence, Trauma and Abuse.
People are abused when they are victims of any pattern of behaviour which causes them harm.
I work as a Counsellor giving people the opportunity to explore their feelings and personal difficulties.
I do not give advice, but help clients make their own decisions.
Some want to look at the relationship they are in, or the way they feel about their families.
As a counsellor I need to be understanding, to trust and respect my clients.
I have qualifications enabling me to specialise in working with people living with HIV/AIDS also with families or partners. With people displaced through Violence, Trauma and Abuse.
I hold the following:
  • Degree in Religious Studies
  • Graduate Diploma in Psychosocial Studies
  • Diploma in Violence and Trauma Studies
  • Diploma in Health and Human Behaviour
  • Certificate in Clinical Pastoral Education
Power of Love Counselling Services respects those of other faith traditions and works together with them to free all those who are oppressed by hate, disregard and violence.
